Thankful

Janet Roth  is thankful for the devotionals and how they help us connect with God and each other.

Kind of reflecting on what has been mentioned in these devotionals lately there are so many of us going through some really dusty roads in life and yes one has to hold their head up to our Lord and thank goodness we have the family of God to help us hold our head up when needed and he alone will clear the dusty road , it is so awesome that we have our church to turn to lift us up in pray and help carry us in support when we need it!

“Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.”

Philippians 2:1-4 NLT

In Matthew 21:13  Jesus says ,” My house shall be called the house of prayer…”. Our church is built on prayer. Prayer is the best power in faith one can have. I just can’t say it enough of how many prayers that have been answered over our lifetime. Gods Word and talking with God is the best walk one could have. The devotionals each of you share gives that extra boost that one needs as we walk closer with God. I thank God for our pastors and for each and every one of you.

Make it a Thankful Thursday! God is good…
