Share and Bear

Gina Burkhart reminds us that we really help and encourage each other as we share our experiences.

I say “amen” to what she has to say.

Late response… But I really appreciated Joyce’s devotional from Monday as I sometimes feel the same way. I find myself thinking I can’t possibly keep bringing the same prayer over and over again, and I sound like a broken record. I know it’s wrong of me to think that way, but sometimes I can’t help myself. Appreciate her honesty. And I know we are to pray without ceasing, but sometimes I just get to a place where the words fail me, and that is when I remind myself of Romans 8:26, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness.

We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”

I’m truly grateful for all who share in these devotionals. “Bear one another's burdens" is a biblical command from Galatians 6:2 that calls on Christians to support others through overwhelming struggles—such as sin, temptation, or deep sorrow—to fulfill the law of Christ. It implies actively helping to lighten someone's heavy load rather than offering passive sympathy. I know each one has a divine purpose and each one reaches exactly who Our Father in Heaven wants it to reach.

Make it a Winning Wednesday! God is good…
