How Much?

There are days when I get tired.

Tired of the pain.

Tired of the medications.

Tired of the doctor visits.

Tired of pretending I’m okay.

Living with pain is exhausting in ways words cannot fully explain. Only my Lord can understand.

People see me smiling.

They hear me say, “I’m fine.”

But they don’t see the silent pain behind that smile.

But God knows, He only allows what one can handle, sometimes that pain is unbearable but with Him I’ll do so.

They don’t see the fear I carry about tomorrow. That fear disappears the closer I walk with him.

They don’t see how hard I fight just to get through normal days.

God tells me one step at a time, He’s got my back.

Sometimes I feel angry, but with God all things are possible 💙

Sometimes I feel broken.

He picks me up.

Sometimes I wonder, but I know God has his reasons, He has a plan and I’m part of it.

But even in my weakest moments… I turn to our Lord to get me through.

I keep fighting.

Because I understand the pain He went through for me.

Because  inside, there is still hope with my Lord in whatever He has for me.  I know that one day the pieces of the puzzle will come together, I’ve seen other pieces of my life’s puzzle put together.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”  Romans 8:28 NLT

Know that this pain will not define my entire life story of my Lords work for me. And know that brighter days are still ahead. My journey is not over.

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6 NLT

But it has also shown me something powerful. I am stronger than I ever knew with my Lord taking lead in this journey.

“But he said to me, ‘I will be kind to you and I will help you. That will be enough for you. When you are weak, I will show that I am completely powerful to help you.’ So I am happy to be proud about my weakness. Then I know that Christ's power will be with me.” 2 Cor. 12:9 EASY

Even when I feel weak, Our Lord never gives up on me.

Even when I feel broken, I am surviving through my Lord.

Even when I feel lost.

He  takes the lead.

And today…  My Lord is always more than enough.  No matter what situation you’re in  — whether it’s positive or negative, good or bad — seek God.

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:13 NLT
