Where is Your Treasure?

Ellen Martell, our South Carolina friend, humbly shares with us some beautiful understanding of her treasures. This was in response to yesterday’s devotional. Well said Ellen, Ty

This hits me today! I have chronic lung disease along with severe asthma and I am currently being treated for pneumonia after a lung infection in August. So I know perhaps better than most, that God gives me breath. I prayed that He would give me sleep last night after not getting more than 30 minutes the night before due to the particular medication I take. He gave me rest and sleep last night

He allowed me to see His ocean and walk into the waves just two weeks ago today I was on His sandy beach marveling His incredible artistry

He knew me before I was born, and knows how many hairs remain on my head. He has allowed me to be a mother to my beautiful daughter who loves me literally unconditionally and who also belongs to Him, and holds my other two daughters in His arms until I see them again, he gave me a husband who would lay down his life for me and my daughter and our grandchildren without thinking twice, He give me joy, tears, forgiveness for my many many failures…this is my reason to not care for earthly treasures. Of course they are always beckoning because in America, we must have it all. And now with the touch of a button on my phone I can have it…but to your point, for what?

My treasure, my hope, my reward is God.

It isn’t the hope of God…it is His presence with me now…He is with me and I am with Him..nothing can separate me from His love

That’s treasure🙏🙌❤️

Make it a Satisfying Saturday! God is good…
