Guiding Journey Church
Toward the Father above
Your hands uplift,
Your words restore,
Your heart reflects
Christ more and more
For every sermon
That lifts our hearts,
For every moment
You help us start
Again with hope
And faith renewed
Today, P-Ray and Candi
Journey Church celebrates you.
In every prayer,
in every word,
you help us hear
God's voice so clear.
May strength surround you,
may peace abide
and may God's favor
be your guide.
A faithful pastor doesn’t just preach sermons, they quietly shape lives. God uses their steady presence, their prayers, and their love for Scripture to anchor a church in truth and guide it toward Christ. As we honor Pastors Ray and Candi this week for Pastor Appreciation Day, we’re really celebrating the way God works through them, We celebrate the encouragement they bring when our hearts are heavy, the wisdom they offer when we’re unsure, the hope they speak when we need it most, and every now and then P.ray’s jokes. Their leadership reminds us that God is still moving, still speaking, still leading His people with grace.
And in every season whether joyful, challenging, or somewhere in between, God has used Pastors Ray and Candi to help Journey Church stand firm. Through their compassion, their humility, and their unwavering trust in God’s Word, they has helped us see Jesus more clearly and follow Him more faithfully. We give thanks not only for the pastor we love, but for the God who equips them, strengthens them, and shines through them. May the same grace they pour out return to them in abundance.
