Morning Musings

Nick Miller shares these beautiful thoughts with us today.

My morning musings last week..

Jesus left the temple and was going away, when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple.

But he answered them, “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

Matthew 24:1-2

You rocked the disciples world with your insight and perspective. Rock my world Lord! Help me to see this place and others and myself as You do! May misconceptions die and Truth reign in our lives ! Show me how You want me to see this world. It’s such a beautiful place that we live in even as I sit on the front porch, listening to the birds and watching the tractor on the ridge. Not one of these will remain though. Our permanence is not found here. Even Run Home Camps which You have proven is from You, will pass some day. My family will pass. This nation will pass. This earth will pass. Lord help me to live joyfully and fully like the green plant. Though it will die in the winter that doesn’t prevent it from growing and stretching up with everything it has here in the spring. Your Word says that our lives are like a breath or a flower or the grass that are here today and gone tomorrow.  May we use each breath You have given us to bring glory to your name even as we breathe in and out “Yah” “weh” with every inhale and exhale. We offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to You. This is our true and proper worship.

Make it a Mindful Monday! God is good…
