Love People
Ellen Martell encourages us with these wonderful words. Ty Ellen and thank you Dolly.
As we all read the sad news yesterday of Dolly Parton’s death, I had so many thoughts and memories of her over the decades of her life.
She was a force! There was really no one like her and say what you will about her vanity or stand out in a crowd persona, she was a force for good
She came from nothing and rose to super stardom, yet she was unwavering in her faithfulness to her husband Karl, who she protected in keeping their private life private, she openly and beautifully giftedly spoke of her deep faith in Jesus Christ. But more importantly than any of that, she loved people. She lived her life demonstrating love by giving abundantly and joyfully
She didn’t see color or race or care about differences in people…she knew what it was to be ostracized and forgotten in poverty, yet..yet, she lived like each day may be her last and loved to her last breath
I hope to meet her someday as we both sing together for Jesus!
Live today loving people as if it’s our last day.
“Everyone must die once, and after that be judged by God.”
Hebrews 9:27
Praise God for good people 🙌🙏❤️
Make it Testifying Thursday! God is good…
