Listen With Your Spirit

Debra Plambeck shares today’s devotional with us. It’s wonderful hearing everyone’s journey. Thx Debra for letting us get to know you better.

Debra Plambeck will bless your heart with her humility and thankfulness. We so glad the Lord led you to Journey.

When Candi asked for devotional submissions I immediately knew I would love to participate. Reading and writing devotionals, including those from P. Ray, has become a cherished part of my daily routine, and I am truly thankful for each

one.

It is remarkable how unexpected moments can influence the course of our lives; I feel deeply grateful for the people I have met along the way. For example, I met Melissa Leonardis at our local playground, shared my contact information with her, and through that connection, she introduced me to the church.

I lost my hearing to a hereditary nerve loss and had not attended

church for years, but now I use a phone to transcribe services.

John 3:8 notes that the Spirit moves unseen, much like the wind.

Through Jesus, we receive the Holy Spirit as our Comforter,

Advocate, and Helper (John 14:16).

Psalm 46:10 encourages us: “Be still and know (recognize and

understand) that I am God.”

Sometimes, it is challenging to put

my thoughts into words; I could fill a book with stories of trials, tests, blessings, and miracles. Moving from Arizona to Pennsylvania has marked a new chapter in my journey. I feel truly blessed to be a part of Journey Church. Looking forward to seeing you  every Saturday for fellowship and worship. God Is Good!

Make it a Wonderful Wednesday! Yes indeed, God is good…
