Imagine!
Janet Roth’s response to yesterday’s devotional. We all have so much to learn. I think of MercyMe’s song ,” I can only imagine.”
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes would see
When Your face is before me
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine, yeah
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine, yeah
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine, yeah
I can only imagine
I can only imagine, yeah-yeah
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!”
Psalms 150:1-6 NLT
Yesterday’s devotional reminded me of Saturday’s sermon, the First time Ramona was in front of us in church I felt a distraction not able to hear the words, all I could think of was her waving her hands . Then I got a hug from her the next week & got to speak with her. She’s not doing the wave for attention either! Saturday’s sermon she was clapping, during songs waving & jumping! I felt this big smile on my face not laughing at her but seeing just how much she loves the Lord that it gave me such joy to see this lady so excited in the Lord. If we all were as excited as she gets it we’d have the biggest revival!!!! I’m sure when we get to heaven she’ll be doing handstands!! Thanks Ramona for seeing a glimpse into heaven.
“When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!” But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!” He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!””
Luke 19:37-40 NLT
Make it Triumphant Tuesday! God is good…
