He Chose Me

Tara Mihalko brings us today’s wonderful devo.

“Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will.” Ephesians 1:4-5

You chose me.

You chose to fearfully and wonderfully knit me in my mother‘s womb.

You chose me and left the 99.

You chose me to be your daughter.

You chose me an amazing husband.

You chose me to be a mom.

You chose me on that dark, rainy night.

You chose me to speak of what you have  done in me.

You chose me before I ever knew what you had done for me.

You chose me because you loved me first.

And I want to tell you…

(A few lyrics from Sara Barellies tweaked)

I’ll tell the world that I finally got it all right.

I choose you.

I will become yours, and you will become mine.

I choose you.

There was a time when I would’ve believed them.

If they told me, you could not come through, just loves illusion.

But then you found me and everything changed.

And I believed in something again.

My whole heart will be yours forever.

This is a beautiful start to a lifelong love letter. (Your Word)

I choose you.

How about you?  “But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve….”

Joshua 24:15 NLT

Make it a Submissive Saturday! God is good…
