Encourage One Another

Ryan Young shared this encouraging message with me and I thought it would encourage you as well.

“Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.”

Philippians 2:1-4 NLT

P.ray, I've noticed over the last few years a serious void of my life.  I just couldn't understand what it was. Well several months ago I started praying that my eyes would be open. And maybe,just maybe, I shouldn't have done that. But I noticed a different type of compassion in my life. So i've been very vocal with all of my clients, about my beliefs, and I found myself praying for them. One of my clients was hurting financially ( which, for clarity, is nothing new.) A lot of my clients are hurting financially.

And through everything, she's lost a few friends, a sister in law and an aunt recently.  I told her that I'd be praying for her. And I just followed up with an encouraging text.  As Christians we have so many opportunities to grow the Kingdom of Heaven. That's what we are called to do!  Thank you for all of your example and prayers throughout the years. “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 NLT
