How many of us are trying to build a house in a storm? Are we only praying because there is trouble not because there is a new covenant? Jesus died on the cross not so we could say a prayer to go to heaven. He died on the cross to take away the sins, to remove them off of us, and inside of us, and to put his new life in us so we can walk on earth with him inside of us. “On earth as it is in heaven. “(Matthew 6:10). We were not made to be here on earth just to try to survive, to make it from day-to-day, month to month, year to year, to make it to be 80 years old and to have had a huge bank account with lavish cars and big houses. That’s not why we are here. We were made to be in his image; to walk with him inside of us. That’s why we were made. We were made to shine light into the darkness of this world. A light so bright that there is no more darkness, where every knees will bow and confess that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. “He calls us to love as he loves” John 15:12, “we are made in HIS image” Genesis 1:27, “As HE is, so are WE”. 1John 4:17, “And the things I do YOU will do if you believe.” John 14:12, “Your predestined to be conformed in the image of his son.” Romans 8:29.
My prayer is that everyone reading this learns to develop an intimate relationship with our Lord because that is what he wants. He wants a relationship. He doesn’t want you to just know about him. He wants you to know him!! Jeremiah 29:12-13 “ then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart.”
