Such A Time
Karen Mayerscik gives up today’s words of encouragement. It’s always good to hear from our Delaware girl.
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
I’m sure most of us know where this verse comes from. I love the story of Esther—it’s a reminder of God’s perfect timing and purpose.
God has placed each of us on this earth, in this exact season, for such a time as this.
Maybe you’re the only believer in your workplace—you’re there for such a time as this.
Or perhaps you’re active on social media, living in a neighborhood, still in school or part of a family surrounded by unbelievers—you’re there for such a time as this.
Evil is all around us. If you don’t see it, you’re not paying close attention. Our enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). He uses the world’s weapons to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10).
But our weapons in this battle? The Holy Spirit and God’s truth.
Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
The devil will try his hardest to defeat us. He targets our vulnerabilities, hoping to knock us out of the fight.
Yet here’s the simple truth: he’s already lost. Stand firm in God’s power—because you were placed here for such a time as this. Keep shining His light. He’s with you, and victory belongs to the Lord.
Make it a Mindful Monday! God is good…
