Seasonal Thoughts
Sash DiGaurdi shares this with us. I shared it at Saturday’s service. Many mentioned how much they appreciated it and would like a copy. Here ya go! Thx Sash so good!
Just some thoughts for this seaon:
The leaves of brown
Came tumbling down.
The crown secure on your head.
You had a staff
And purple gown.
Your forehead was dripping red.
They insulted You
They laughed at You,
They sat You on a stool.
They did everything that
They could do
To make You look a fool.
You had a smile
Upon Your face
And a glow within Your eyes.
You knew that soon
You’d leave this place
Free from all their lies.
They took You out
Into a crowd
And asked for their reply
And every one of them
Yelled out loud,
“This man we must crucify.”
Well that was Your trial
And the crowd Your jury
And the penalty of death was passed.
They nailed You on
A cross with fury
Three hours of tournament You did last.
But before You died
You taught a lesson
For all the world to see,
You forgave them all
And gave Your blessing
You saved the soul of me.
Thank You Jesus
For all You’ve given,
Without Your death I’d be lost
But by it You made
Life worth living.
I’ll repay You, whatever the cost.
Make it a Meaningful Monday! God is good…
