Happy Monday! Here’s something for you to consider as you begin this week.
I remember a song I first heard while I was in college. that has stuck with me for over 50 years. Man am I old! The song Through It All, was written by Andre Crouch in 1974. The lyrics I remember said, “ I thank God for the mountains, and I thank Him for the valleys, I thank Him for the storms He brought me through. For if I'd never had a problem, I wouldn't know God could solve them, I'd never know what faith in God could do.
Perhaps Andre received some inspiration from James who wrote.
“My Christian friends, remember to be happy, even when many kinds of trouble happen to you. Troubles can help you. So you should continue to trust God all the time. Then you will become stronger as a believer. You will become completely how you should be. You will not need anything more.”
