Tara has a great devo today. I’m serious no horsing around 🙄😂
This is a vision I received from the Lord this morning. He always amazes me in the way that He shows us things.
When you’re in an amusement park, there are carousels. There are multiple horses on a pole that go up and down as the carousel ride is on. Vision that carousel as you get onto it as this is the ride that you were on with Jesus. You get onto the horse and there are highs and there are lows. And all along the highs and lows you hold onto that pole (Jesus). What happens when the carousel is shut off for the night? Do you get off of that carousel? Do you stay on the carousel? If you answer that you would get off of the carousel, are you going to continue to hang on and ride the ups and downs, holding onto Jesus? Or will you stay on the carousel just waiting for morning time when it’s time to turn back on again?
I know, as for myself, I’m going to get off that carousel. I will with each step that I take have my hand in Jesus’ hand and my gaze on Jesus. He is the only way that I can get through a day. The carousel may stop, but He never does. And we have the choice to continue with Him or stop like the carousel. Even though we have the ups and downs, He is always with us every step of the way. Walking with Him is an all day, every day relationship. And it’s been the most beautiful relationship I’ve been in.
My prayer is for each one reading this to choose to walk each step with Him. To know Him. To truly know Him. Take His hand and walk each day, each moment, knowing He is right there with you.
John 17:3 ESV
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
Hebrews 12:2 ESV
Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
